County Cab is under new ownership but has a long tradition of superior taxicab service in Baltimore County. Since the summer of 2011, County Cab’s independent affiliates have systematically replaced over half of their operating fleet with new fuel efficient Scion XB’s, Hyundai Sonatas, Toyota Prius’s and Camry hybrids, and roomy late model Toyota Sienna vans and stretch Ford Crown Victoria taxicabs, giving County Cab one of the most modern fleets of taxicabs in the state of Maryland. We have replaced the old dispatch system with state of the art GPS-based digital dispatching, which provides more efficient service to our customers and more accurate information to our drivers. Every vehicle in the fleet can accept credit cards electronically, regardless of the amount of the fare, and every cab accepts both the Taxi Access II Card and TaxiCard. Look for the new automated credit card acceptance equipment that will be in the rear seats of every cab by July 2012.

The new equipment will allow passengers to pay by credit card without having to ask the driver or hand over their credit card.
